Boondocks Resort, located in Midway, Arkansas was once Bull Shoals Lake Resort. Boondocks Resort has found a new life! We welcome you to take a fresh look and will love providing a new level of outstanding hospitality. When you book one of our 23 cabins you’re in for a great stay! In addition to the comfort of our updates, you can count on clean cabins that are only steps away from beautiful Bull Shoals Lake.

Madison - July 2019

This was our first time staying at the Boondocks Resort. The cabin was perfect for our family of four with extra sleeping room if your count the pull-out couch. Very clean with an excellent view of the lake. A little concession house with snacks and drinks and ICE made packing up for a day on the boat a breeze. We enjoyed one of two beautiful pools with our kidos (one family friendly and one 16+ PERFECT!) So excited to stay again and see what wonderful things they have planned for this place!

Great place for families to have fun and have a great time. My kids absolutely love it. And we’re thrilled to have their birthdays there in the pool. Not to mention the view is wonderful overlooking the lake. I recommend to come on down for a little get a way or a party!

The view is spectacular and the staff super friendly. Cabins are very nice and you can access your boat from the property as well as enjoy two swimming pools. Can’t say enough about this place. I will definitely be back.

The Boondocks Resort is on the shoreline of Bull Shoals Lakes. it is scenic and secluded, but just a few miles from all the amenities in town. Spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchenettes and free wifi, The Boondocks has everything you need for a family escape, a fishing trip or a romantic getaway.

Highly recommended!! We stayed here this weekend with friends. Very clean rooms and beautiful views of the Bull Shoals Lake. Great place to stay for fishing or just for a weekend get away. We will definitely be back!

Had a blast here. Everyone here was really cool. There is a restaurant located on site. There is also a concession stand with a fairly extensive menu, a boat slip you can use, and golf carts you can rent. The road down to the lake is a little steep so the carts can be a great investment if you take the walk often. The owners are in the middle of remodeling and building some new additions. Can't wait to see what it looks like next time we go. Recommended!

Our Policies

Water!

Bull Shoals Lake is in our backyard. White River is down the road.  We can also connect you to fishing guides. You can cool off at our swim dock, fish, boat, kayak, swim in the 2 pools, or do it all!
